Responsibility and Ethics - The Kimberley Process

The Kimberley Process was established by governments across the world in 2003, with the aim of ending the trade in conflict diamonds. Conflict diamonds are classified by the United Nations as rough diamonds that have been used to fund the military activities of rebel movements.

The Kimberley Process controls the flow of rough diamonds, only allowing ones that are certified as conflict-free to be traded. Conflict-free diamonds have come from responsible sources that have no involvement in the funding of armed conflict.

PepperPink can guarantee that all their suppliers are trading within the Kimberley Process.

PepperPink go to exceptional lengths to ensure all components of our jewellery are responsibly sourced. To the best of our knowledge we do not deal with any supplier involved in unethical diamond, precious stone or gold mining. We promote ethical practices by dealing only with suppliers that are transparent in their sourcing.
